Maenor Aur: Statement of Purpose
Children, parents and staff respect and care for each other in a happy and relaxed atmosphere.
Children, parents and staff respect and care for each other in a happy and relaxed atmosphere.
Menor Aur has been designed specifically for your child's needs along with relaxation rooms full of modern equipment and a variety of toys that children love and that are age appropriate. Underneath there is play equipment suitable for all age ranges. Our approach to learning is centered on the child and that promotes the development of the individual along with their self-confidence while providing the highest standard of nursery care.
Menor Aur accepts children from six weeks old up to eight years old from Monday to Friday. We ensure that each child's individual needs are met by providing a key worker for each child who keeps an eye on them regularly, and measures the child's development in each of the five domains of learning development: belonging, communication, exploration, physical development and well-being, and the subsequent stages of promoting their play, development and learning. The child's key worker is chosen by the child and they ensure that development, interests, safety and, above all, happiness are central to everything we do.
About Us:
Maenor Aur provides a happy and caring environment that allows children to learn and grow through play. The children, parents and staff respect each other and look after each other in an atmosphere of enrichment and caring. Our Playrooms offer great opportunities for children to play. The children enjoy outdoor play, creative arts, sensory play, messy play, yoga, caring, stories, imitation and baking, to name just a few of the activities. There is easy access from the playroom to the outdoor play area as a door leads directly to an enclosed outdoor area. This offers fantastic opportunities for the children to play outdoors. We aim to offer every child the best in childcare. We offer free induction sessions so your child is happy and comfortable before they officially start.
The Welsh Language: Children who grow up in Wales have the right to feel a sense of belonging to Wales and its culture and to enjoy experiences relating to the Welsh language, and therefore we communicate mainly in Welsh. Children are encouraged to learn Welsh words and phrases throughout our daily activities.
