At Golden Manor Nursery located in Pembroke and Maenor Aur located in the grounds of Ysgol Bro Penfro in Pembroke we aim to provide all children with the skills and confidence to help them grow to their full potential by providing them with the opportunity to learn, play and have fun in a caring and enriching atmosphere, that values all children and their families. Please see below information for both settings.
Golden Manor and Maenor Aur provides a happy and caring environment in which children learn and grow through play. Children, parents and staff respect and care for each other in an enriching and caring atmosphere.

Golden Manor Nursery
Golden Manor is a award winning childcare facility which has been open since 2007.
Within Golden Manor we have 2.2 acres of land, this offers children fantastic opportunities for outside play including a small woodland, a large castle with slide, a vegetable garden, a bike and trike area, a willow walk, outdoor playroom, climbing equipment and lots more.
We have on the premises a sensory playroom, this stimulating environment helps children learn the basic building blocks needed to process hearing, sight, smell, touch and taste.
At Golden Manor we have been awarded ‘Exemplar Employer’ and have highly qualified and motivated staffs, many of the staff have their degrees in Childhood Studies or hold a Level 5 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development.

This is our first inspection since we opened in 2007 that we have been inspected by ESTYN (Education and training inspectorate for Wales) and CIW (Care Inspectorate Wales), as we started in September 2023 to provide nursery education to eligible three-year-old children.

A little bit about
Maenor Aur
Maenor Aur is a brand-new Welsh Medium childcare Nursery which has recently opened in Pembroke, at the Ysgol Bro Penfro school site.
Our Playrooms offer children fantastic opportunities for play. Children enjoy outside play, creative arts, sensory play, messy play, yoga, mindfulness, stories, role play and baking, to name a few.
The playrooms have easy accessibility to outdoor play, with a door leading straight outside to an enclosed outdoor area.
This offers children fantastic opportunities for outside play. We aim to offer every child the best in childcare. We offer free settling in sessions, so that your child is happy and settled before they officially start.
Welsh Language: Children growing up in Wales have the right to feel a sense of belonging to Wales and its culture and to enjoy experiences in, and of, the Welsh language, therefore we primarily communicate in Welsh. Children are actively encouraged to learn words and phrases in the Welsh language throughout our daily activities.
